This time of year players usually are burnt out, in need of rest or dealing with nagging injuries. However prephoopers.com witnessed a few players who got stronger as the summer continued.
Jordan Nwora, 6’7, 2017 forward played extremely well for the NY Rens in Fab 48 scoring 24 to 26 points on 2 occasions in Las Vegas. He continued his stellar play for Team Africa in the Adidas nations tournament where he averaged 23.3 ppg. Check out his highlights from Adidas nations below.
Marco Morency, 6’2 2017 Combo out of Mount Vernon. He is blue collar guard who can change directions with the best of them while finishing above the rim. Marco shoots the ball well enough to keep defenses honest and is also a great stopping opposing guards from scoring easily.

Nicholas Richards 6″11 Center 2017 Patrick school. Hands down he was the best center in Las Vegas. Still needs to run the floor like he used to when he first arrived to the states. Otherwise he showed why all the high majors are focused on him potentially coming to join there programs. He rebounded and played well all of his games except when Expression played the Rens. With the exception of Richards being out of rhythm that game he definitely dominated his position throughout fab 48.
Chris Eupfreti, 7’0, 2018 center NY Rens.
Chris had some solid moments in Fab 48. Eupfreti ran the floor well and finished strong every opportunity he got through Fab 48. He needs to continue to work on his reaction time. However he displayed his ability to rim protect and block shots which helped his team advance to the semis in Fab 48.
Samson George 6’7 forward 2017 first love Christian Academy.
Samson George’s motor was very much on display in Fab 48. Between George blocking shots, dunking the basketball and getting key buckets when needed for the Rens. Samson wowed the college coaches with his will to win and work ethic. Look for Samson to start visiting schools very soon according to his family.
